Delivery Information
Wholesale prices are quoted to customers ordering full truckloads and include delivery.Trade / Retail prices quoted will be based on order quantity and are subject to delivery charge.
Depending on delivery location part loads are sometimes routed directly from France and a nominal delivery charge of £100 may be made.
Small orders can of course be collected by the customer or delivery arrangements made according to distance from our yard and type of vehicle used.
We will endeavour to obtain the lowest economic delivery cost possible. Please talk to us.
Full 26-ton trucks 14 metre long are routed directly from France to the customer premises. Please ensure that the access is suitable and that a forklift truck capable of lifting a minimum of 2.5 tons is available.
Part loads of 2 or 3 pallets may also be delivered by full size truck unless specific alternative arrangements are made.
Small deliveries of railway sleepers are made by mid size truck or 3-ton trailer and offloading can only be done roadside. The truck has no offloading facility so if you do not have a forklift truck you need at least 2 strong people to offload.
Oak railway sleepers weigh from 70 kg to 110 kg each so please do not underestimate the effort required. Mini railway sleepers weigh 50 kg.
