Solid Oak Flooring
In conjunction with our partner sawmills we can now offer the very best quality solid oak flooring available from France. We supply only fully seasoned kiln dried oak that has been carefully selected for that beautiful rich timeless floor that will last for generations.Boards are 20 mm thick, untreated and have a good smooth finish requiring only light sanding after installation.
Every board is machined to a high tolerance and tongue and grooved on all 4 edges for easier ridged fixing ( no need to cut every board to align with a joist so less waste ).
We also machine a small chamfer along the longitudinal joint, which enhances the appearance of the finished floor.
To further improve the stability of the finished floor in centrally heated homes we machine stress-relieving grooves on the underside of each board.
We offer 4 width sizes 120, 140, 160, 180. Grades available are Cottage or Rustique.
The grade is an indication of the number and size of knots in the grain. We find the Rustique Grade best matches the English taste since knots add character to the finished floor. Rustique Grade is also cheaper.
The length of boards vary from 600 mm to 1800 mm with 80% of every delivery to include boards 1200 mm to 1800 mm and 20% of every delivery 600 mm to 1200 mm.
Boards 1800 mm to 2200 mm are also available.

Engineered Oak Boards
For a beautiful oak floor that is durable and easy to install we supply the finest quality Engineered Oak Boards that are finished with 6 coats of high performance UV varnish.Each board is 14 mm thick with precision tongue and groove on all four edges.
Three-ply construction ensures the very best stability available.
The top layer is Oak, the middle layer is multiply and the backing counterbalance is made from Pine.
Unlike poorer quality engineered flooring supplied by some of our competitors the top layer of Oak on our boards is a full 3.2 mm thick.
